Dear Unstoppable Woman, - Are you constantly seeking other people’s approval?
Do you second guess yourself and rely on others consent before taking action on anything?
Is this the reason why your dreams remain untouched and unaccomplished?
Well, the good news is that you don't need anyone's permission to start doing better for yourself! Many times, when we have the support of people whose opinion we value, we feel all warm and fuzzy. The validation is great but it should not be the criterion for whether we begin taking the action we need. So, trust yourself and give yourself permission to succeed. You will be amazed to find that people will be willing to support you when they know that you are really serious about something and are actually taking action. Think about it…what will happen to your goals if you don't get the approval of those whose permission you so desperately need? Nothing! Ponder point:
a) Whose approval have you been seeking and how is it holding you back? b) What kind of words do you desperately need to hear before you can take any form of action? Speak them out loudly to yourself. Believe those words and feel affirmed because you are.
Now, get going on the things that are important to you—you deserve it!
